The Punjab Police has arrested Ankit Rana, a gangster running an extortion racket in Punjab and Haryana. A top official gave this information on Saturday. Rana, who was wanted in several other criminal cases, was arrested by the Anti Gangster Task Force of the Punjab Police. He was wanted in the Baltana encounter case and several other criminal cases. Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said in a tweet, “Ankit is one of the main kingpins of the extortion racket in Punjab-Haryana.”
