Former US President Donald Trump has left the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta. According to The Washington Post, Trump surrendered at the Fulton County Jail in connection with his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. Former US President Donald Trump reached Fulton Jail with the entire convoy to surrender in the Georgia election fraud case. According to The Washington Post, charges were framed against Donald Trump and 18 others last week on charges of tampering with the Georgia election and attempting to overturn the election results. Fulton County Sheriff’s Office has said that in view of Trump’s surrender, the movement of people around the county jail was stopped. Security arrangements around the jail were also tightened.
