First Puja of Amarnath Yatra

Jammu (HP) : The first worship of Jayeshtha Purnima for the annual pilgrimage to Amarnath to be held after two years was held in the holy cave this time also. In the year 2019, it was performed in Jammu, but despite the cancellation of Amarnath Yatra last year, the first puja was performed in the holy cave. According to Shrine Board officials, the first puja took place on Tuesday at the Amarnath cave. In this, along with the CEO of the board, Niteshwar Kumar, the officers of the Budha Amarnath Yatri Trust also participated. After two years, the yatra is starting from June 30. In today’s program, President of Budha Amarnath Yatri Trust, Pawan Kohli, General Secretary Sudarshan Khajuria and Vice President Shakti Dutt Sharma were present.
