On Monday midnight, 8-10 attackers opened fire at a scrap shop in Harmilap Nagar, Baltana, Zirakpur with the intention of looting. In this, one person has been shot, while two other persons have been injured by knife attack and are undergoing treatment at GMCH Sector-32. The attackers fled from the spot after firing.

According to the information, after selling scrap in Ambala, shop owner Ajay was sitting with his friends at his scrap shop in Harmilap Nagar when a dozen masked men came to his shop and with the intention of robbing, opened fire on him, in which owner Ajay got injured. Went. Apart from shop owner Ajay, Chhotu and Santosh were also injured in the knife attack. Ajay told that he had brought a payment of Rs 12 lakh and with the intention of robbing him, he was attacked by masked attackers.

Police said that the injured youth were first taken to Sector-6 Hospital of Panchkula but from here they were referred to PGI, Chandigarh. When it was found that the PGI hospital was on fire, the injured youth were taken to the hospital in Sector-32. Zirakpur police received information about the matter at 7 am.

Surprisingly, the police received information about 7 hours after the attack took place. After this the police came to the spot and collected forensic evidence. DSP Vikramjit Singh Brar reached the spot with the forensic team and conducted the investigation.
