Gurugram, May 3 (HPR)

In Gurugram district, voters above 85 years of age and with more than 40 percent disability will get the facility of pick and drop to the polling booth on May 25. Earlier, these voters were given the facility to vote from home also, but many voters have expressed their desire to go to the polling station and vote.

District Election Officer and DC Nishant Kumar Yadav said this on Friday. The DC said the number of voters above 85 years of age and with more than 40 percent disability in Gurugram district is 50,790. Along with voting from home, these voters will also get the facility of pick and drop. Voters of this category can register their information by calling the toll free number 1950 of the District Election Office. The duty of one government employee and one volunteer has been fixed to bring these voters from home.
