  • In case of swelling in feet, cook 2-3 cloves of garlic in a little olive oil. Massage with this oil three times a day. Gradually the swelling will reduce.
  • After bathing, massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil.
  • Boil half a kilo of potatoes in a glass of water. Keep your feet in this water.
  • Massaging the toes with ginger oil twice a day also provides relief from swelling.
  • Mix a little apple cider vinegar in a quarter bucket of hot water. Soak a towel in this water and place it on the toes.
  • Soak two tablespoons of whole coriander in half a cup of water. Grind coriander and make a paste and apply it on the feet after half an hour. Soon you will feel relief.
  • Soak your feet in warm water with rock salt daily. Gradually the swelling will reduce.
  • Mix two spoons of baking soda in some rice flour and apply this paste on the feet. Wash feet after 15 minutes. Will provide relief from swelling.
  • Mix three to four drops of eucalyptus, peppermint and lemon essential oils in half a bucket of hot water. Soak your feet in this water for 15 minutes. There will be relief from swelling soon.
  • Cut cucumber into thin pieces and place them on your feet and tie them with a cotton cloth. Open the bandage after half an hour, you will get benefits.
  • Mix half a teaspoon cinnamon powder, one teaspoon lemon juice, one teaspoon olive oil and one teaspoon milk in a bowl. Apply this mixture on your feet every night. You will feel relieved.
  • Wrap 4 to 5 ice cubes in a cloth and apply it on the swollen area. You will get relief.
  • Make a paste by mixing one spoon coconut oil and two spoons turmeric powder. Apply it on the feet and after it dries, wash it with lukewarm water.

Keep these things in mind:

  • In case of swelling in feet, consume less junk food and things containing preservatives.
  • Include nutritious and fiber rich foods like apple, pear, banana, carrot, beetroot, broccoli, sprouts, moong dal, peas, kidney beans, gram, barley, almonds, chia seeds etc.
  • Consume salt and sugar only in balanced quantities.
  • Eat beetroot daily, it reduces swelling.
  • Don’t drink too much water.
  • Do not sit with your legs dangling and avoid walking too much.
