With the victory of Sergio “Checo” Pérez in the Monaco Grand Prix this Sunday, it began to circulate a video in which you can see the former president of Mexico, Felipe Calderón, jump into a pool along with the Mexican Formula 1 driver.
The former president can be seen approaching the pool of the Monte Carlo circuit with shouts of “President” in the background, while being driven by “Checo” to jump into the water. Finally, both hugged and jumped together, and after their action they were applauded by the people who were celebrating for the third victory of the runner in his career.
For its part, “Checo” Pérez celebrated by jumping into the Montecarlo pool as other riders of the Red Bull Racing team have already done in previous years. It is a tradition that has become a bet, and this Sunday the Mexican fulfilled it.
