Kochi: Actor Dileep and others who were handed over to the magistrate court in the case of conspiracy to assassinate the officers investigating the case of the attack on the actress, are protesting against the opening of their mobile phones in the court. The respondent said that the phones should not be opened in court and that the purpose of the investigation team was to tamper with the phones. But the court asked what could happen if the phones were left open for five or ten minutes. The case will be heard again on Thursday morning, the Aluva Magistrate’s Court said.
The phones of the accused were handed over to the Magistrate’s Court yesterday in the case of conspiracy to assassinate the investigating officers in the case of attacking the actress. The action was taken as per the directions of the High Court. The respondent also handed over the lock patterns to unlock the phones. The probe team then approached the magistrate’s court asking that the phones be sent for scientific testing.
However, the respondent demanded that the phones not be opened in court. With this, the court informed that a decision will be taken on Thursday regarding the opening of the phones. The case will be heard again on Thursday at 10.30 am. A decision will be taken on Thursday regarding sending the phones to Thiruvananthapuram for scientific testing.
