A big jump was seen in the cases of Covid-19 in West Bengal, Kerala and Karnataka on Saturday. West Bengal reported 4,512 cases, which is an increase of 1,061 cases compared to the previous day. At the same time, 2,435 new cases were reported in Kerala and 1,033 in Karnataka. This information was received from the data released by the three states on Saturday of Covid-19. The cases of Covid-19 are increasing rapidly in West Bengal for the last few days. On Friday, 3,451 cases were reported in the state, of which 1,954 were from Kolkata alone.

Among the nine people who died of the infection, there are two people each from Kolkata and North 24 Parganas. Similarly, after 2,435 new cases were reported in Kerala on Saturday, the total number of infected people increased to 52,40,487. At the same time, after the death of 22 more people, the death toll increased to 48,035. The Health Department said that apart from Saturday’s death toll, the new cases of death from corona in the state also include 219 such cases, which after receiving an appeal based on the new guidelines of the Center and the directions of the Supreme Court, the figures of death due to corona. included in.

The Health Department said in a release that 18,904 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the state, out of which 10.7 per cent are hospitalised. Today, 2,704 patients became infection-free, after which the total number of healthy people increased to 51,81,981. After 1,033 new cases of infection were reported in Karnataka on Saturday, the total number of infected people increased to 30,08,370. At the same time, after the death of five more people, the death toll increased to 38,340. 9,386 patients are undergoing treatment in the state. In the bulletin issued by the Health Department, it was told that today 354 patients were infection free, after which the number of cured people increased to 29,60,615. Out of the new cases, maximum 810 cases have been reported from urban Bengaluru.
