COVID-19 in Mexico: 2,458 infections and 68 deaths reported in one day

In the last 24 hours, Mexico registered 2 thousand 458 infections and 68 deaths by coronavirus.

According to the technical report of the Ministry of Health, at the end of this Thursday March 31the country accumulated 5 million 659 thousand 535 positive cases and 323 thousand 16 deaths from this disease.

Until this Thursday, they have been detected 8 thousand 612 active cases of COVID-19 in the country, where Baja California Sur, Mexico City, Colima, Aguascalientes, Tlaxcala, Nayarit, Querétaro, Sinaloa, Puebla and Campeche are the entities with the largest number of them.


The first 10 entities with the highest number of accumulated cases are: Mexico City, State of MexicoNuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, San Luis Potosí, Veracruz, Puebla and Sonora.

In the last five weeks, most of the cases are present in the groups of 30 to 39 years, followed by the group of 18 to 19 years and 40 to 49 years.

Globally, at the cut of this Thursday, one million 437 thousand 257 cases and 3 thousand 686 deaths were reported by COVID-19.
