Amidst the growing threat of Omicron and the possibility of a third wave of corona, the vaccination of children between the ages of 15 and 18 has been given the green signal. Dr NK Arora, chairman of the Covid-19 Working Group of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI), said on Sunday that Covaxin has shown a very good immune response in children in the trial. The chairman of the Covid-19 Task Force said this after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to start vaccination for children aged 15 to 18 years. The vaccination of children between 15 and 18 years is starting from January 3.
