Birla tweeted, “Condolences to the demise of Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla, a stalwart leader of the social movement. He fought lifelong for social rights.” Condoling the death of Bainsla, Chief Minister Gehlot said, “The news of the death of Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla is very sad. As the head of the Gurjar reservation movement, Bainsla sahib fought a long struggle for the reservation of MBC (Most Backward Classes). If the credit for the reservation that the MBC class has got today goes to one person, it is Colonel Bainsla. He discussed many times about the issues of the society. His affection for me always remained.
