CNG being sold for Rs 300 a kg in Pakistan, this big allegation against the government

Pakistan’s economy is in the grip of recession.

The price of CNG in Pakistan is currently on the seventh sky. People have to spend up to Rs 300 for one kg of CNG. On the skyrocketing prices of CNG, the Dealers Association says that the government is trying to end this sector. These prices of CNG have been increased without any advice. According to the ARY News report on Saturday, CNG prices in Pakistan have reached an all-time high of Rs 300 per kg after a hike of Rs 70.

CNG Dealers Association President Abdul Sami Khan said in a statement that the price of Re-Gasified Liquid Natural Gas (RLNG) has also been increased. Expressing anger over the hike in prices, the chairman said that billions of dollars of investment in the CNG sector are being wasted. He said that CNG was considered to be a cheap fuel but the huge hike will kill its demand. He also demanded that the federal government should provide RLNG to the CNG sector at subsidized rates, otherwise, it should completely phase out the CNG sector.
