A Chinese soldier involved in a conflict in the Galwan Valley in Eastern Ladakh took part in the traditional torch relay of the Beijing Winter Olympics on Wednesday. According to the Global Times, a Chinese newspaper, the regiment commander was inducted as a hero among 1,200 torchbearers. Qi Fabao Galwan was wounded in the conflict. He had suffered a head injury.
