The Attorney General of Mexico City (CDMX) opened this Saturday an investigation folder for the case of the baby found dead inside a prison in Puebla.

The news was released after it was reported that the minor, identified as Tadeo, was exhumed from a pantheon in Iztapalapa.
Through its twitter account, the capital prosecutor’s office He explained that the complaint was filed by the administrator of the Iztapalapa pantheon, after a woman requested to excavate the tomb of the newborn.
The testimony details that the minor’s mother went to the cemetery, accompanied by a man, after learning on social networks that the body of a baby in the state of Puebla.
Suspecting if it was her son, the woman went to the grave to verify if the minor was still in the same place; However, after carrying out the excavation, Tadeo’s mother discovered that the body was no longer in the tomb where it had been buried.
In this regard, the president of Reinsert a Mexican, Saskia Niño de Rivera, announced that she is already in contact with the baby’s family. “They are already in the Puebla Prosecutor’s Office looking to identify the body.”
The activist specified that the minor was called Tadeo and was born on October 4, 2021. However, due to intestinal problems, he died on January 5, 2022 and a day later he was buried in the Iztapalapa pantheon.
“A few days after the discovery was made public in the san miguel prison and seeing the news in the media, the parents suspected that the baby they had found in the prison was their son. They went to the pantheon. They were threatened when they saw that their baby’s body was no longer there,” he explained.
On January 10, the lifeless baby was found inside the garbage containers of the Social Reintegration Center (Cereso) of San Miguel and they indicate that he would have entered during the day of the visit.
