He said, “The Ukraine war has had a profound economic impact around the world, from which Britain is no exception. I know many of you have felt its impact on your homes and financial needs. Therefore, this government has taken tough but fair decisions to bring borrowings and loans under control. And it is because of those decisions that we have been able to help those most financially vulnerable to rising energy bill costs. ,
Sunak promised in his New Year message that Britain would do its best in the coming months on the economic front. He promised continued support for Ukraine and presented the coronation of King Charles III on 6 May as a unifying force for the country.
The British Prime Minister said, “Three months ago, I stood on the steps of Downing Street and promised that I would continue to work on the things that matter most to you. Since then, this government has taken decisive action to strengthen our NHS (National Health Service) with record resources including more money, more doctors and more nurses.
