Bihar: Tourism minister’s son beat up, fired in Champaran district

People protested against Bablu, son of Tourism Minister Narayan Sah, for beating and firing.

In the West Champaran district of Bihar, BJP MLA from Nautan and Bablu, son of Bihar government’s tourism minister Narayan Sah, showed arrogance. It is being told that after a fight between the children playing cricket in the garden, firing has been done. Minister Narayan Sah’s son fired in the air by intimidation and then a stampede broke out. About half a dozen people, including a child, have been injured in this.

The villagers chased away his son who had come from the minister’s official vehicle. During this, the minister’s son ran away leaving the government car. People broke the minister’s name plate on the vehicle and surrounded his vehicle and protested fiercely.

As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and confiscated the weapon used by the minister’s son. However, the minister’s son has fled from the spot. Janardhan Prasad’s father Lalbabu Prasad Hardiya has been injured by the bullet. He has been admitted for treatment at Bettiah GMCH with the help of villagers.

Terming all the allegations as baseless, Tourism Minister Narayan Sah has said that it is a political conspiracy to defame him, while the matter is said to be related to the land dispute.
