Madikkai (Kasargod): The CPM claimed that the Kanhangad area committee did not take proper action before and after the Periya double murder case. Criticism at the District Conference. Delegates also accused the leadership of delaying intervention in preventing violence against party members and sympathizers after the assassination.
A member from Cheruvathur area said that the inauguration of the Kaiyur Martyrs’ Memorial Complex, which started construction in Kaiyur years ago, was a shame.
