Kolkata, June 11 (Agency) Fresh incidents of violence were reported in Panchla Bazar area of Howrah district of West Bengal on Saturday. During this clashes broke out between the protesters and the police and many houses were torched. A senior official gave this information. The protesters pelted stones at the police, injuring some personnel. Apart from this, a Bharatiya Janata Party office was also damaged. The police fired tear gas shells and fire tenders were called to disperse the crowd, the official said. He said that the situation is under control at present. The official said the protesters have been dispersed. Some policemen were injured in stone pelting. We are doing route marches in the area. The situation is under control.
