After receiving the award, Bellingham showed his gratitude to “everyone” who has helped him in his career and dedicated the trophy to his brother and parents. “Thank you for your support,” he said.
Bellingham, when asked by the gala presenters, said that he has had “a very good start” to the season with Real Madrid and showed his gratitude to his teammates and his coach, Carlo Ancelotti: “They have welcomed me very well and allowed me to express myself.”
About whether he chose the number 5 in the Madrid team as a tribute to Zinedine Zidanehe joked and pointed out that, “to be honest, there was no other”although he later stressed that this shirt represents “enormous pressure and a tribute to one” of his “idols.”
The midfielder assured that he will continue working “to achieve new trophies.”
