Bank manager shot dead in J&K

Jammu, June 2 Terrorist violence in Kashmir and attacks on people from minority communities apart from non-resident civilians did not stop. On Thursday, terrorists killed a bank manager. He was a resident of Rajasthan. Three jawans were seriously injured in an explosion in a vehicle in the morning. His condition is critical.

Terrorists opened fire on the bank manager of the local Dehati Bank branch in Kulgam in Aareh area this morning. The bank manager was seriously injured in this attack. He was admitted to a nearby hospital, but he died during treatment. The deceased has been identified as Vijay Kumar. He was a resident of Hanumangarh, Rajasthan.

Police sources said that when Vijay Kumar, who was appointed as manager in Mohanpora branch in Kulgam, came out of his house, suddenly some suspected assailants started firing on him. The terrorists fled from there before people gathered there. The people of Aareh area immediately picked up the injured Vijay Kumar and with the help of police took him to the District Hospital Kulgam. Before the doctors could start his treatment, the bank manager died.

On the other hand, a private vehicle on rent exploded in Sedo area of ​​Shopian. Three jawans were seriously injured due to this, who have been admitted to the hospital. IGP Kashmir says that whether the accident happened due to grenades or IIDs already installed inside the vehicle or due to battery fault, it is being investigated. The information that comes out will be shared.
