Varanasi, June 2 (Agency) Avimukteshwarananda, a disciple of Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopananda Saraswati, announced on Thursday that he would worship the Shivling found at the Gyanvapi mosque on June 4. He said that if the administration stops him from performing the puja, he will inform the Shankaracharya and after that the decision taken by the Shankaracharya will be implemented. Swami Avimuktreswarananda told the devotees at Shri Vidyamath in Varanasi that the decision of the Dharmacharya is final in the matter of religion. “Just as the Supreme Court interprets the law, so any religion is explained by the Dharmacharyas,” he said. He said, ‘The greatest teacher in Sanatan Dharma is Shankaracharya, of whom the senior most is Swaroopananda Saraswati. According to Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati ji Maharaj, only Vishwanath ji has appeared in the Gyanvapi complex. On his orders, we are collecting all the things for worship, on Saturday, June 4, we will worship him on behalf of the Hindu society.
