Attack on Cristina Kirchner: they rejected the release of Agustina Díaz

Brenda Uliarte’s friend will remain imprisoned by decision of the Buenos Aires Federal Chamber.

Agustina DiazBrenda Uliarte’s friend, will continue to be imprisoned. This afternoon the Federal Chamber of Buenos Aires rejected the request for the release of the young woman, in the case that investigates the attack against Cristina Kirchner in front of her house in Recoleta.

Díaz – who had been arrested after the content of the messages she exchanged with Uliarte became known – had expanded her preliminary statement on Wednesday before federal judge María Eugenia Capuchetti and prosecutor Carlos Rívolo.

She had done it to suggest that it was not she who appeared in a TV image taken near Cristina Kirchner’s house on September 1 and said that that day she was at her home and missed school to stay with her grandmother. .

In the indictment, Díaz is accused of “having taken part in the planning of the premeditated attempt to kill Cristina Fernández de Kirchner on September 1”, at the door of the Vice President’s apartment in Recoleta.

Clarion had exclusive access to the report on Brenda Uliarte’s cell phone. Her messages incriminate her even more. She was prosecuted for attempted murder, aggravated by treachery and premeditation.

The conversation exposes that prior to the attack, Uliarte was already referring to the assassination attempt, something that the judge described as a criminal plan.

The plaintiff attorney, Marcos Aldazabal, had stated before the members of Chamber I of the Buenos Aires Federal Chamber, made up of judges Leopoldo Bruglia, Pablo Bertuzzi and Mariano Llorens, that it would be “hugely harmful for an investigation of this relevance if it were released” Agustina Diaz.

He highlighted the “degree of participation” and said that in one part of the communications Díaz “urged Uliarte to delete messages and get rid of his cell phone” after the September 1 attack.

That was when he said that they had “numerous conversations”, even in one of them he told him: “kill whoever you want but cover your tracks”.
