Maharashtra Transport Minister Anil Parab appeared before the Enforcement Directorate here on Thursday for the third consecutive day in the money laundering case registered against him. An official said that Parab reached the ED office at Ballard Estate in south Mumbai at around 3.45 pm. He said the ED is questioning him in a money laundering case related to alleged violation of Coastal Regulation Zone provisions in the construction of Sai Resort in the Dapoli coastal area of Ratnagiri district in Maharashtra, he said. The ED had questioned Parab for over six hours on Thursday and for over 10 hours on Tuesday. He has become a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council for the third time and is currently the Minister of Transport and Parliamentary Affairs. The ED had raided the premises of him and those associated with him. Prior to that a case was registered against him and others under the Money Laundering Act. However, he has denied any wrongdoing.
