The singer, comedian and queer artist Ana Malewho has given much to talk about this last year for her unique style and for presenting herself as one of the most promising artists of this generation, announced the release of her first EP titled “Magical realism”.
The album, now available on all digital platforms, is a story of love, magic and psychedelics in the tropics. In addition to its musical content, the project focuses on developing music videos that elaborate and build the magical world of Ana Macho.
“Magic Realism” is a psychedelic journey towards love (and heartbreak) in the Caribbean, to the sound of boleros, perreos and pop anthems. It has seven songs performed and written by Ana Macho and produced by La Maldad and includes collaborations with Enyel C and Robertito Chong.
Ana identifies her music as “non-binary Caribbean popstar that the world needs.” Self-proclaimed as the queen of neo-bolero and mother of cuir perreo, Ana likes to experiment with the native genres of the archipelago and combine the pulse of nightlife with the magic of Caribbean music. Her career includes hits like “Muñeca” with Antillean Villain“Cuerpa”, “Jayau” and “Space Caco”.

On June 24, Ana Macho will be the guest moderator of a stand-up comedy presentation at Punto Fijo where viewers will be able to appreciate one of her multiple talents while enjoying a night of laughter.
