Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s launch of 5G service on Saturday, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said that people are already getting 5G service under the BJP rule. Akhilesh Yadav told ‘5G’ to mean poverty, scam, scam, sham and hoax. The SP chief tweeted and said, “People are already getting 5G under BJP rule: G = poverty, G = scam, G = scam, G = confusion, G = hoax.” Prime Minister Modi inaugurated 5G internet services in select cities of the country at the ‘Indian Mobile Congress’ 2022 (IMC) held in New Delhi on Saturday. The plan is to expand this service across the country in the next two years. Addressing the event organized on the occasion, the Prime Minister said, “5G marks the beginning of a new era and has the potential to create immense opportunities.”
