Kabul:
The brutality of Taliban is increasing continuously in Afghanistan. Since the Taliban took over, the practice of public executions has returned. Everyday such painful videos are coming out in which atrocities on women are seen. One such video is going viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that Taliban members are openly flogging women. According to the Taliban’s Sharia law, it is strictly forbidden for any woman to go out and shop alone. It is being said that the women who are being beaten up had allegedly gone out to the market alone without a man.
This is the Taliban brutally lashing a woman in Takhar province for going to the shop without a male guardian.
The women of Afghanistan are experiencing hell on earth under Taliban regime. We mustn’t turn a blind eye.

Twitter user named Shabnam Nasimi has posted this video. The video of about two minutes is allegedly from Takhar province. Earlier on November 23, the Taliban had publicly flogged some women. These women were accused of moral turpitude.
Earlier on November 24, the Taliban had beaten 12 people accused of moral crimes in front of a crowd of thousands in the football stadium. Three women were also included in these 12 people. According to a Taliban official, these people were accused of theft, adultery and gay sex. This happened for the second time in the month of November when the Taliban punished people in a public place for a crime.
Please tell that the Taliban had captured Afghanistan on 15 August last year. Before that the soldiers of America and NATO countries had left Afghanistan. During this, many times human rights activists have appealed to the UN regarding the protection of women’s rights. In this episode, the experts of the UN team have agreed that what Taliban is doing with women is a crime against humanity.
In this way, the practice of punishing in public places has started after the orders of the Supreme Leader of Taliban, Hibatullah Akhundzada. All these punishments are being given according to Sharia law. Last week, a similar case came to light from Takhar province of Afghanistan. In this, 19 people were punished. In Nuristan province, a woman was beaten for listening to music.
