Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann held a cabinet meeting in Mansa on Saturday. Talking to reporters, CM Bhagwant Mann gave information about the major decisions taken in the meeting. 7,902 teachers who have completed 10 years of service will be regularised. Mann said his government would recruit 1,880 doctors and nurses in the state. 435 MBBS students will be recruited for house jobs. The government is also looking at formulating a policy for stray cattle, as well as announcing Rs 5 lakh as compensation for their death. Mann also announced calling a special session of the assembly on June 19 and 20. The CM announced amendment in the 10-year sentence for the accused in chit fund fraud cases.
