2483 new cases of Covid-19 in the country in a day, the number of patients under treatment decreased

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday morning, the death toll has risen to 5,23,622 after the re-matching of cases of death due to infection in Assam and 1,347 cases in Kerala. The ministry said that Assam has re-matched the cases of death due to infection, which has changed the existing figures. Otherwise, not a single case of death due to infection was reported in the state in the last 24 hours. In Kerala too, no case of death due to infection was reported in the last 24 hours. These 47 cases also came to light after re-matching the figures. According to the updated data, the number of patients under treatment for Covid-19 in the country has come down to 15,636, which is 0.04 percent of the total cases. There has been a decrease in the number of patients under treatment by 886 in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the national rate of recovery of patients is 98.75 percent. The daily rate of infection is 0.55 percent and the weekly rate is 0.58 percent. So far, a total of 4,25,23,311 people have become infection free in the country and the death rate from Covid-19 is 1.22 percent. At the same time, more than 187.95 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
