In Kashmir, 4 terrorists have been killed by security forces in 2 encounters in the last 24 hours. With this, 103 terrorists have been killed by security forces so far this year. One Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist was killed in Kulgam, while three terrorists were killed in Pulwama in the early hours of Sunday. Weapons have been recovered from the slain terrorists. Some objectionable material has also been found. According to the information, while issuing a statement on Sunday, the police said that a terrorist was gunned down in Drabgam area of Pulwama on Saturday. So far, three terrorists have been successful in killing after the ongoing encounter that night. At present, the search operation is still going on in the area. Sharing information on internet media, Kashmir IG Vijay Kumar said that all three terrorists of Pulwama encounter have been killed. They have been identified as Junaid Shirgojri, Faizal Nazir Butt and Irfan Ahmed Malik residents of Pulwama. Two AK 47 rifles and a pistol have been recovered from their possession. A search operation was launched on Friday night on the information of the presence of terrorists in the Khandipora area of Kulgam. During this, seeing the cordon tightening, the hiding terrorists started firing. In retaliation, the encounter started. In the overnight encounter, Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Rashik Ahmed Gainei resident Kulgam was successful in killing. Three not three rifle, pistol, hand grenade were recovered from him. Police said that the operation was called off with the killing of the Hizbul terrorist.
